Food at Camp

We are Nut Aware!

Ramah is committed to providing a safe environment for our campers. We recognize that food allergies, in some instances, may be severe and even life-threatening. Ramah Day Camp is Nut Aware. All food served at camp is peanut and tree nut free. We appreciate your cooperation and support as we implement this important policy and insist that you do not send in food containing peanut or tree-nut based products.

ALL FOOD SERVED AT RDC IS STRICTLY KOSHER.

Campers may sign up to participate in our daily Kosher lunch program. A summer lunch menu will be distributed before the start of camp with hot and cold lunch selections. Fruits or vegetables are served at every meal.

Your camper also has the option to bring a Kosher dairy or pareve lunch to camp daily. These lunches will NOT be refrigerated and should be clearly marked with your child's name.

Water coolers are placed all over camp so that campers can fill their water bottles multiple times a day. All campers receive a morning and afternoon snack. If your child has food allergies, please make sure to indicate as such on their medical form so we can address this with you before camp.
