Transportation

Campers arrive either by camp bus or by car. In order to maximize the efficiency and safety of arrivals and departures, please familiarize yourself with the transportation procedures.

If your child will be taking camp transportation to and from camp:

• You will be contacted approximately two (2) weeks prior to the first day of camp with the estimated pick up and drop off times.
• Your child must be ready on time in the morning. We strive to make the ride to camp as efficient as possible. Delays in the morning result in a longer ride to camp for all on the route. Campers will not be dropped off at the end of the day where there is no adult present.

If you are driving to camp:

• Parents and visitors to RDC should enter and depart the campus from the Ashbourne Road entrance.
• Drop off is from 8:45-9:00 AM and afternoon pick up is 3:45-4:00 PM.
• For everyone's safety, your camper will not be permitted to exit your car until there is a staff member present to meet your child.
• Each driver is responsible for the prompt arrival and pick up of campers. Our camp day begins promptly at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:45 PM. If you are late for any reason, please notify the office as soon as possible.

Under no circumstances will a camper be permitted to leave camp with anyone other than their regular carpool or bus driver without written permission from a parent/guardian.
